Raspberry and sous bois notes on the nose open to bright Bing cherry with time in the glass. Finely textured throughout as a result of judicious use of whole-cluster fermentations and the succulent acidity of this Green Valley site, this Pinot Noir has the aromatic pop and structure to either drink now or age for well over a decade. Tasting from the same bottle the next day, the Perry Ranch offers secondary mushroom notes that are interwoven with the primary fruit throughout the palate and the long, lingering finish. A beautiful wine from a remarkable site in a great vintage – it's a joy to share this wine!
